Every year since I was born, we have gone on vacation to Wildwood, NJ. We devote a day to going crabbing and just enjoying the water. We rent a boat from this local place down the shore, and we buy fish bodies to crab with.
This picture was taken about two years ago. On this outing, I caught three crabs in the same trap, at the same time. It was crazy! We did very well that year crabbing.
We decided to branch out and go on vacation in NC last summer. Wildwood has become very crowded and over populated. It just wasn't as fun as it used to be. I will miss our outing on the boat though. It was such an old tradition. I can still remember catching enough, and my Gram would cook them for everyone in the house. I can still picture everyone gathered around the big dining room table cracking the shells.
