Traditions are born

Ever since we were all younger, we always loved to dance together. We used to do the electric slide and all the other line dances, as well as, making up our own to any song we came across.
Before my oldest sister's wedding, the four of us decided to all do something special at the reception. We came to an agreement to dance to a song together like old times. We decided on cotton eyed Joe because it was upbeat and it described us, we were born and raised in the country.
We danced at my sister's wedding as discussed. In August, before I left for college, my Uncle got married. We requested our song, and waited for it to be played. When it finally was, every other guest cleared the floor, and the four of us danced for the whole room. Now it has become a tradition to dance to cotton eyed Joe at all family weddings.
