This picture is of my sister, Kristen, and I "busting a move" on my other sister Patti's fiance, Will. This picture was taken at my Uncle's wedding. He is my Mom's brother, and his wife is from Ireland.
Mary, the bride, has lived in the states since she was in her twenties (she's now 50), so she only has a slight accent. Her family is from Ireland, so half of the guests at the wedding were speaking in heavy Irish accents. They were somewhat hard to understand.
My sisters and I were line dancing at the wedding (electric slide, cotton-eyed Joe, etc). Mary's family was staring, mesmerized by us. It was funny because they kept asking us to dance another one or to teach them the steps to the song. My family though, was staring at them because they were really good dancers. Mary's brother shared the "father daughter" dance with Mary. They had a tradition Irish song on, and they really knew how to dance.
My uncle's wedding was so much fun, and it was very exciting to be involved in another kind of culture for a night.
