The Adirondacks

Last year in October, my parents and I took a trip to the Adirondacks. It was already in the low 50's and a lot colder at night. Despite the weather, it was gorgeous.

We went up on White Face Mountain, and we could see Lake Placid. It was quite a hike up to the top, but the view was worth every minute it took to get there. The trees were already peaked with color, and there was a brisk wind, always.

There was a part of the mountain, at the top, where tourists could climb out and just sit and look. My Dad and I walked out and it was where most of my pictures were taken. My Mom stayed on the other side of the wall, she's afraid of heights.

I would recommend the Adirondacks to anyone who loves nature and beautiful scenery to take a trip to the Adirondacks.
