My name is Kate. I was born in New Jersey on September 24. I have a PASSION for softball and baseball, but because I play softball, that's why I love it more! I am a catcher and I wish I could have played for Etown, but I have bad knees. My other interests include watching movies ( I LOVE MOVIES), fishing, kayaking, watching the Yankees (Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada), and just being outside in general. I have known for some time that I wanted to go to college for Early Childhood Education. I love the satisfaction that comes with helping young children achieve something that is important to them or that has presented problems for them.
On another note, I am one of four daughters. I am also the youngest. My family is extremely close to one another. I can remember growing up and always having one of my three sisters to play with, go shopping with, or merely talk to about different problems or concerns. They, along with my parents, are my biggest influence and fans. My friends and boyfriend are very important to me also. They always know how to make my day better. If I didn't have my family, friends, and boyfriend, I would not have a support system.
